Women Daredevils: Thrills, Chills, and Frills by Julie Cummins, illustrated by Cheryl Harness has earned two starred reviews before publication. ALA Booklist called the text of this profile of female stunt performers "lively, peppy [and] chatty." They praised the artwork as "richly colored, expressive, realistic and filled with action." Kirkus Reviews wrote, "Kudos for bringing to light this hidden slice of female history." Perfect for Women's History Month!

After an amazing year celebrating the success of 2006 Michael L. Printz medal-winning Looking for Alaska, John Green began 2007 with another recognition by the Printz committee when his second book, An Abundance of Katherines, was awarded a 2007 Michael L. Printz Honor. This acknowledgment by the Printz committee (the award is the highest literary honor that a young adult title can receive) makes John Green the only American to have been twice-honored by the Printz award and joins other honors for Katherines, including another back-to-back recognition for Green as a finalist for the L.A. Times Book Prize. These celebrations were all captured on video--including the phone call from the Printz awards committee--as part of John's 2007 video blog project with his brother, Hank: Brotherhood 2.0 (Brotherhood2.com). Having now received over 4 million views on YouTube, Brotherhood 2.0 has brought a whole new group of fans to John's books and has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, on Fox News, and on BBC Radio.
